SpectraSan 24 is an EPA Registered, broad spectrum antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral disinfectant that can provide up to 24-hour residual effectiveness. How Does it Work?

Where Should I Use SpectraSan 24?
A high touch surface is best for this product. A high tough surface is basically any surface that is in frequent human contact through normal use: door handles, elevator buttons, telephones, drinking fountains, keyboards, counters, etc.
How Do I Apply/Use SpectraSan 24?
SpectraSan 24 is easy to apply with no rinsing necessary. Simply spray or lightly mist the high touch surface with SpectraSan 24 and let air dry. If too much product is applied a treated surface may be come tacky or sticky. To remedy this situation, once the SpectraSan has been applied, simply wipe the effected surfaces with a microfiber cloth.
When applying SpectraSan 24 to electronics or surfaces that can be sensitive to moisture, simply wet a micro fiber cloth with the solution and wipe objects or sufaces to be treated. Allow to air dry. For larger areas, SpectraSan 24 can be fogged for easier application.
The Active Ingredient in SpectraSan 24 is Silver Dihydrogen Citrate, whereas most leading disinfectant sprays use Ethanol/Ammonium Chloride for their active ingredient.
Silver Dihydrogen Citrate (SDC) kills microorganisms by two modes of action:
1) The silver ion deactivies structural and metabolic membrane proteins leading to the microbial death.
2) The microbes view SDC as a food source, allowing the silver ion to enter the microbe. Once inside the organism, the silver ion denatures the DNA, which halts the microbe's ability to replicate and leads to its death.
*This dual action makes SDC highly and quickly effective against broad spectrum of microbes. This product is colorless, odorless and non-staining.
